Bob Spicuzza

Mr. Spicuzza was introduced to Wisconsin wrestling when he participated at Milwaukee South High School from 1943 to 1946. During that time he lost only three dual matches. After high school, Spicuzza wrestled for George Martin at the University of Wisconsin and in 1950 he was a State A.A.U. Champion.

Spicuzza served as an assistant coach to George Martin and also at Notre Dame while doing his graduate work there. In 1956 and 1957 Spicuzza helped develop the wrestling program at Stoughton at the time that Duane Kleven was in high school there. In 1958 Spicuzza went to Milwaukee Washington where be was head coach.

Spicuzza was also the treasurer of the Wisconsin Wrestling Coaches Association. He held that position for 8+ years.
